It’s that time again, everyone. Friday. The gateway to the weekend. I’m sure a lot of you are going to be heading out to the LGS to try the new edition of 40k. I’m hoping to just hang out with some friends and keep things chill. I saw some games of 8th Edition last week via a preview copy my LGS had. People were really excited about it. It’s looking like a good system. But if you’re going to be at the LGS all day, gaming it up, hardcore, you need to have plenty of energy. Best to fill up on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: Hawkmen Prepare for Kickstarter Launch, Kromlech Weekend Promo Sale, Sloppy Jalopy T62 Available Now From Sally 4th, Devil Forge Miniatures Release Odo Grumblebelly, and The Raider Vs the Unnameable In Alien Invasion Kickstarter.

Devil Forge Miniatures Release Odo Grumblebelly
Brand new UK based miniature company Devil Forge Miniatures has released their first character Odo Grumblebelly, sculpted by Wiltrichs. They will be releasing a series of fantasy and sci-fi characters for gamers and collectors.
The Raider Vs the Unnameable In Alien Invasion Kickstarter
Two new characters are joining the Alien Invasion Kickstarter. The first one has already been funded and the second one is the current stretch goal.
Do’Kjonnz claims to be an archeologist. He collects rare artefacts from all around the galaxy in the name of “science” and “the eternal quest for knowledge”. However, most academics consider him a mere tomb raider… The fact is, most of the time his “quests” end in a catastrophic way and the places he explores get destroyed! He doesn’t seem to care that much though, as he generally has a lot of fun in the process. He even gets to punch some bad guys, so that’s not too bad, right?
But it looks like in his quest for lost idols, he’s now facing a terrible adversary…
The Unnameable High Priest of the Elder Gods from Outer Space! This worshiper of the Multi-Armed Deity and the Octopus-Headed, Winged Monstrosity is bound to be a terrible foe for our heroic adventurer!
Please note that the High Priest’s sculpture is currently a work-in-progress and, as such, still not very well refined. But it will be just as sharp and detailed as Do’Kjonnz when it’s finished. I will post more pictures as the sculpting progresses!
Both miniatures will be available with their respective scenery elements either in resin or in metal. The metal versions will also be available without scenery and Do’Kjonnz will be available with a torch or a machete.
